In a 1997 shareholder letter Jeff Bezos said:
I constantly remind our employees to be afraid, to wake up every morning terrified. Not of our competition, but of our customers.
Quite strong words.
I’m not normally a fan of the celebrepreneur, but there are times when there are some valuable lessons that can be learned (just in the same way that you can learn valuable lessons from the family that’s run the corner store for the past thirty years).
