In a previous post, I looked into why it was important for a product manager to have a degree of technical knowledge to succeed in the role, the summary of which is that understanding the fundamentals of how websites and applications operate, means that you can approach any problem from a position of knowledge, and you’re in a stronger position to work more collaboratively with your development team.

If you don’t come from a technical background prior to moving into product management (as many people don’t), then the question becomes how do I obtain this knowledge?
